I, Francis Leow a disciple of H.H.Dorje Chang Buddha III, hereby would like to share my experience on my journey into Buddhism and finding the treasure of True Buddha Dharma from
H.H.Dorje Chang Buddha III.
I was born in a decent family of four, my parents, a younger brother and I. In a religious perspective, I was born in a buddhist family as my grandmother who stayed with us usually practiced praying with joss sticks at home on a small altar.
My mother was not into religious practice so she was annoyed with my grandmother for burning joss sticks, incense or paper offerings to deity god and etc. I followed my grandmother's practice blindly and felt impractical in terms of the benefits and meaning of these offerings. In that respect, we call ourselves "Buddhist" but what is the real teaching of Buddhism? None, as I see, but just repeating on doing the same thing and not knowing the profound teaching of Buddhism such as Cause and Effect, Cultivation and etc. We are told doing good deeds like charity work can accumulate merits but we are not aware of the importance and ways of Cultivation which is essentially required in turning around our so-called 'fate'. It is only in the later years after I started learning the teaching of

H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, I finally able to see the full picture of life and death, the purpose of practicing Buddhism and the ways to attain liberation.
We lived a simple life, but as I grew older, my parents found another religion which is Christianity. Since that day, I have never really had faith in any religion, but still followed and went on with what my parents were doing.
Years later, I got married to my first wife who was a buddhist, a conventional buddhist who just followed the normal practice of praying for health and prosperity without any knowledge of Buddhism. In fact later on, she followed me to the church as I was still holding the faith from my parents for learning the teaching of Christianity.
Initially we were just ordinally followers but my ex-wife eventually put in effort into learning the bible as influenced from her friends and we slowly became strong believers. Honestly, while we were Christians, there were a lot of joy and happiness during the worships of Jesus Christ, in fact some parts of the teaching consist of the essence of Cultivation. But I have never come across the teaching of what is Cause and Effect, Impermanance and Reincarnation while I was a Christian. Only until I learned the true Buddha Dharma from H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, I realised that I have been missing significant teaching while I was a Christian.
We were told that whoever believes in Christ will automatically transcend to Heaven after they pass away! I was also told whoever accepted Christ, Christ will die for their sins, which I now think is a myth. When we were born from day one, we carried accumulated good and bad karma from our past lives, how can we attain liberation without practising Cultivation and true Buddha Dharma, and yet still able to go to Heaven?
As time passed by, we have two children, we brought them to church and let them learn about Christianity. We had carried on living as Christians for many years until one day, my ex-wife fell sick and she went for a medical check up. Do you know what had happened??
She was diagnosed with a stage 3 cervical cancer!! I could not accept it, I had asked myself what have we done wrong or what has she done to deserve this disease? She had never done anything bad such as killing or harming anybody! At that time, we didn't know this was the reaping of her bad karma.
I was stunned and lost. I tried to find the best doctor to cure her. We were Christians so we informed our Christian brothers, sisters and the Pastor to come and pray for her.
The first question that came into my mind was that we had diligently followed the teaching of Jesus Christ for many years, WHY WAS THERE NO BLESSING FROM HIM AND YET THIS DISEASE DEVELOPED??!!
I posed this question to the Pastor.
"Not to worry, this is a test from God. He will heal your wife and we will keep praying for her, there will be a miracle." said the Pastor.
My ex-wife and I listened and believed in it. Unfortunately, my ex-wife passed away after 2 years of torture in fighting the disease and went through very major operations. I was left with two lovely children in the beginning of 2014.
I gave the Pastor hard and tough questions : Why did God take my wife away? Why did He not save her since He is so great and powerful??
Do you know what was the answer given to me by the Pastor?
"These are all God's plans!!" he said.
What is this? I thought God would protect and bless the good people and punish the bad ones as according to his teaching??
I was extremely sorrow and depressed after my ex-wife passed away, my whole life went haywire. I felt lost and did not know what to do. I did not have much support from relatives or friends except for my parents but they are Christian. I was still drilling myself into questions of why my ex-wife has to bear all these sufferings and died at young age, has she really gone to heaven? No one is able to give me a definite answer to my doubts. Eventually I fell into depression and I had trouble working and taking care of my two young children whereby my youngest child was only 8 and eldest was 12 years old respectively. That was the darkest point of my life thus far.......
Light has come to my life again towards the end of 2014. I had the karmic affinity to learn the teaching of true Buddha Dharma from my respectful Buddha Master, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III. Through continuous effort in listening the dharma discourses by H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III, I have finally found the ANSWERS and SOLUTIONS to my questions! Trully thankful and grateful to my great Buddha Master, H.H. Dorje Chang Buddha III for his magnificient teaching of true Buddhism.
Hereby, I would also like to express my deepest appreciation to my new beloved wife for introducing me to the teaching of True Buddha Dharma from H.H.Dorje Chang Buddha III.
